Although not quite as ...

Although not quite as bright as I had hoped (especially the front sight) they are a big improvement over factory standard gear coming on the Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter. Sights were fairly easy to install (minor moto-tooling on the front's base, in my case) and must be rock solid & tight because gun's grouts remained tight. I'm going for a Marble's fiber optic front, larger & brighter.

The front sight works really great. The rear sight left a lot to be desired. An improper fit at best. The narrow channel on the underside did not fit the Ruger and the windage adjustment piece left no room for adjustment. Others have had great success with the sight, there is a high probability my set left the factory defective. Williams offered no help in resolution.

I bought these for my GP100 hoping to increase the contrast on the sights and make them easier to see in a variety of light conditions. They stand out really well with bright or dim lighting, but in the dark they are no better than the stock sights. I took one star off for the difficult installation and lack of instructions. The front post was easy as can be, but I had to take it to a gunsmith to get the rear sight installed.

tldr: If you plan on shooting during the day and have a gunsmith to install them, they are excellent.

Great replacement sights!

I bought these to put on my Ruger GP100. I'm very far-sighted, so, with factory sights, I can either wear my glasses, and see a fuzzy target, or not wear my glasses, and see fuzzy sights. These Fire Sights were the answer to my problem, and have made shooting more enjoyable. They were easy to install. No problems with the fit. Took the revolver to the range, sighted them in, and haven't had to touch them again. I'd highly recommend them to anyone interested in them. P.S. The photo I've included with this review is not the perfect sight alignment, as it's difficult to do with a cell phone camera. The photo is just as a reference to appearance and brightness. It was also raining when I took the photo.

I can see again

I installed these on both a 6" and 4" GP100 357 mag, they installed in a bout 5 minutes with no problems, just like the factory sight. The differance is I can see these so now I can hit my target. My 25 yard 6 shot groups went from just over 2" with the factory sight to 1" with the 6" barrel and 1.125" with the 4" barrel. I have found that they are easy to see right up till the end of legal hunting time here in Vermont, 30 minutes after sunset. I would highly recomend these to anyone who has failing eye sight because of age or any other reason. Likie I said I can see again.

Huge improvement over the stock sights, easy installation. Have yet to shoot with them but sight acquisition indoors in low light is excellent.

Just got the sights today in the mail. Put them on my GP100 in about 5 minutes. Went on very easy and seem to be a huge improvement over the factory set up. Can't wait to get out and try them.

From a visualization point of view, it's an excellent sight but durability left something to be desired. Most of the front red fiber optic material fell out after just a few shots with my 44 Magnum and some holster carry. I'm going to try another one but if there is another breakage, I'll have to go to something more durable.

I bought a set of these sights for a single six. They were not too hard to put on, just be careful not to lose the spring that comes out when you remove the rear sight. it made a world of difference. I love these sights.

These sights are a great upgrade. So easy to install (about five minutes) and the light you pick up with these sights is truly unbelieveable, I could'nt imagine shooting my .44 the stock way now.
