Great mount system for ...

Great mount system for use with the Magul MOE hand guard... Unfortunately, the clips on the pressure switch frames that snap into the slots on the MOE hand guard are thin brittle plastic. I had one "leg" of the rear clip snap off upon installation, and another after using the switch pad when teaching a class. Now the only thing holding my pressure pad in place is the double sided tape. The rails are SO ROCK SOLID when mounted that it's a shame they could not come up with a better way to secure the pressure switch frame.... If I was using the mounts without a pressure switch it would be an easy 5-STAR rating. I'll be calling Magpul directly to complain and see about a replacement switch mount. I'll update with the results!

Great kit! Contains ...

Great kit! Contains everything you need, even mounting pads for pressure switches. And its Magpul, so it's extremely durable. And you don't get excessive rails that you will NEVER need for anything.

Purchased this to attach ...

Purchased this to attach to MOE carbine length handguards. The pressure switch mount attaches to the handguards via two plastic tabs. This prevents the mount from moving up and down, but not from moving forward towards the muzzle or backwards. Magpul included some double sided tape to remedy this. I however used a hex head screw, and an extra threaded backing piece for a picatinny rail. After mounting the kit I used the screw to stop the pressure switch mount from moving. Great product, I just don't like the double sided tape. Also the pressure pad mount will securely hold a pelican pressure pad switch.

Installed as advertised. Well built and easy to install. The only problem i had was some accessories fit tight on the rails. A little sanding and everything worked smooth.
