Constructed of all steel and weighing only two ounces, the Mark 2 triggers are adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds of pull and feature a 3/16" wide serrated trigger. Additional features include a patented rolling sear override and require minimal modification to your stock when installed.

Great product, no problems with fit or finish, works excellent with the Mauser 98/22 Brno receiver. The adjustment is easy, it will be excellent for hunting. This fits well with the stock receiver parts, the striker, bolt, bolt sleeve and safety.

I studied long and hard, and had poor satisfaction with Timney before going with the Dayton Traister. The Dayton pivots like the original trigger and uses the spring like the original trigger, to allow the rocking action needed when the bolt is slid over the sear. The Timney does not, and is stiff to overcome.Installation was a breeze, just Dremel work on the stock cavity to provide clearance. I haven't been to the range yet, but dry fire is crisp, and tremendous improvement over the terrible Turkish trigger. My Swedes are okay with original trigger, but the Turk is terrible. I highly recommend the Dayton Traister.

I picked up two of these triggers, one for an M24/47 and another for a Turkish Mauser. My primary criteria for going with the Dayton-Traister trigger was:1. Seemed to have the least modification associated with the installation.2. I have used their products before and have been satisfied overall.One thing about Dayton-Traister Mauser products: they all require some kind of modification of the firearm. This trigger is no exception, however it is only stock modifications that are necessary. I had to use a router bit with my Dremel to increase the trigger cavity in the stock towards the rear lug. I also had to widen the trigger channel on the bottom of the stock. Even after I got the trigger to fire properly I realized the bolt would not open due to a tight fit. My advice: remove a little wood at a time and check pulling the trigger FORWARD to ensure clearance when re-cocking the bolt. Performance of the trigger is outstanding. It is literally night and day difference vs. the originals. I have not tried to modify the pull weight because I don't feel it is necessary. Very crisp...I would have given this product 5 stars if it were not for the fact that I believe this trigger is being sold as "minimal modification" to the original Mauser.
