The Lifesaver Water Filtration Bottle is the first water purification system that removes all waterborne pathogens from questionable water sources, all without using chemicals. The Lifesaver Bottle uses hydrophillic fiber tubes combined with an activated carbon filter to completely remove all microbiological contaminates. This means that water is completely sterile, there are no; bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, or fungi in the water once it has been filtered. The two-stage process begins with the hydrophillic fiber tubes, they filter out all microbiological contaminates; rendering the water completely purified. The second step moves the water through an activated carbon filter, this step reduces a significant amount of chemical residues including: pesticides, medical residues, heavy metals like copper and lead, and endocrine disrupting compounds. Additionally, the activated carbon removes bad tastes and odors from the water, including sulphur and chlorine. The end result is water that is completely sterile and safe to drink or even to irrigate wounds.

The design of the Lifesaver Filtration Bottle allows users carry nearly one quart of water from almost any source and filter on the go. Simply unscrew the pump from the bottom and fill the bottle directly, the pre-filter disc keeps large particulates: gravel, sticks, mud, and sand out of the bottle. After screwing the pump back into the bottle, a few pumps moves the water through the ultra filtration cartridge, allowing users to filter as needed. The replaceable ultra-filtration cartridge removes all waterborne pathogens and is good for 4,000 Liters or 6,000 Liters (depending on model). A unique safety feature of the Lifesaver Fitration System is the use of their patented Failsafe Technology which will not allow water to move through the filter once it has exceeded its useful life. Users will be able to tell when they are nearing the end of their filters life when it becomes more difficult to force water through the filter until the filter simply stops allowing water through, signalling that it is time for the filter to be replaced.
