Great knife! Feels great ...

Great knife! Feels great in the hand, well balanced and VERY sturdy. I am especially pleased with the sheath design. That is something that is often overlooked. It can be mounted in multiple ways to suit whatever you are doing and it holds the knife securely. Overall it is a great product!

great knife!! had mine for two years now, beat the snot out of it. its been in saltwater, in the swamp. its cut down trees, spilt fire wood. it chops good, it stays sharp well. tough as nails. only issue is the grind profile. its too steep. had mine reworked to more shallow grind. best stainless knife ive ever owned

This is what I have been ...

This is what I have been looking for in a field/ survival knife. I have had several knives over the years and when it comes to fixed blade, I seem to always have to sacrifice small size when I want something that will chop firewood if need be. Not so with this knife. Even though it only has a 4 7/8 blade, in a survival situation, you will be able to chop timber with it. It is quite stout and well balanced for the size.The blade is extremely sharp and is very easy to sharpen with the built in sharpener on the sheath. Speaking of the sheath, what a great design!! Two heavy-duty snaps plus a feature that grabs and holds the front of the handle will ensure that you do not lose this out of the sheath while doing whatever. And the sheath is designed to be put on your body and gear several different ways.The handle of the knife is very fitting to the hand like a glove and the material is non-slip even when wet. The butt of the knife can be used for hammering and has an evil chisel point on it for smashing through glass. It would be a great less lethal alternative in a self-defense situation too.I am sure that this knife will bring me years of good hard work when hunting, hiking, backpacking and primitive camping in the wilderness. I highly recommend this knife for anyone that will be in the outdoors and stands the chance of facing a survival situation.
