Used on Remington 1100 LW 20 ga. It fit nicely within the magazine spring which made it easy to reinstall the spring into the magazine tube.

I ordered this for my girlfriend's 870 Express Compact .20 gauge so she would be able to hunt with it when not configured for home defense. The plug works as advertised and does the job it is meant to do. Works fine with both the factory Remington follower and the Nordic Components Low Drag Teflon coated follower that we've tried it with. Here in Oklahoma, there are a few select state Wildlife Management areas with gun ranges that are free to the public if you have a valid hunting license and if you go to use one during any open hunting season, you want to be sure your gun complies with hunting regs and this follower will do the job. Tried it with both 2 3/4" and 3" slugs and no issues whatsoever. If you hunt at all, you should keep an extra one of these, an extra follower and spring in your case with your 870 just to be on the safe side, especially if you're the sort who often changes barrels and/or mag tubes. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.
