Good product but is not as polished as it looks, it's pretty dull honestly, it is a drop in for citidel 1911 and it does look good but not what I expected.

This part looks awesome. The machining and finish are both top notch. HOWEVER,...I also had to trim this down (by about 1/16") on my .45 case trimmer to get my barrel bushing to close over it. Quite disappointing. But, once that was done it fit like a glove. Knowing it may need some trimming, I will still order more of these for my other 1911's that have the GI guide rod because they work and look so good when they are fitted.

Very nice piece. Be very aware that you CANNOT use this type of plug with a full length guide rod. This is ONLY for traditional GI style guide rods.

Great product. The plug itself was a tad too long to get the bushing screwed closed on my 2010 Dan Wesson PM7-45. I realized that I could use my 45 Colt case trimmer to shorten the plug. Took just a few minutes and it dropped right in. Looks great, but WC should tell customers that it's a little too long.

Excellent quality. It's the nicest plug I've seen. The stainless is polished to a high sheen. The circular grooves on the end are unique and more appealing than the traditaionl checkering, plus it's seems less likely to be marred by the bushing or bushing wrench during takedown. It's a great looking piece, and a cheap and basic way to improve the look of your 1911.
