Product Information

When it comes to whitetail deer, it's important to have ammunition that delivers exceptional knockdown power as well as improved penetration and a high weight retention. Winchester uses a unique bonding process with their Power Max cartridges. This process takes a copper jacketed bullet and welds lead to it which allows for the improved performance.

In addition to the bonding process, Power Max Bonded loads feature a protected hollow point that generates a massive mushroom that expands to twice the original diameter. Because of the remarkable qualities of the round, Winchester has stamped this ammunition as the official ammunition for whitetail hunting.
