Would not give this ...

Would not give this product one star if that were an option. My bad, I thought being a lifelong metal worker and gun buff that I could figure out what others couldn't and make this product function. If Midway was on their game, they would pull this product! I will definitely be looking elsewhere for my next order. Sorry Midway, buy you shouldn't be selling junk, period! Rounds did not load easily, or properly, then hung up and would not feed, properly. Tried to tweek it just a hair and the welds let go, not one, but all of them. I may someday go through the pain of spot welding mag back together and see if it might work somehow, but not happy at all.

I checked the reviews before I ordered the mag, but I still ordered 1, to see if it would work for me. I needed to do some adjustments, after that works great. Yes I will be ordering more.

This magizine is so far out of adjustment with a regular high standard magazine, I don't know if I can get it aligned to work in my High Standard. Should have believe the other reviews.

This is a very initial assesment. I did not read the other reviews before ordering 2 of these mags. I would probably not have ordered them if I had. I received the mags today & have not actually fired rounds using them yet. I hope to take them to the range for a trial soon & will update. That said, These seem to be (with only very slight design differences) an almost identical match to the original magazine to my, I don't know how old, HI-STANDARD MODEL "D" 22LR target pistol that was handed down to me through family. I have no problem loading ammo into or ejecting it from these mags by hand. "Thumbing" the shells from the loaded mag is simple if I hold the spring button to relieve the tension. And, when in the gun, I have no problem "racking" shells through the action by working the slide by hand. So far, the ammo seems to feed just fine in my pistol. If it works as well at the range, I'll probably order a couple more. Note; my HKS plastic magazine speed-loader, made for my Ruger MKII mags works fine on these also.

Unfit for sale or use by Midway customers. It would not accept/feed ammo. The spot welds broke. I have invested 10 hours in dismantling, adjusting, re-assembling and gotten it to accept rounds but still working on feed problems. Good webpage at High Standard site for critical dimensions on magazine. I will make it work reliably, but will buy factory next time.

These mags fit into the pistol, but don't feed the shells, no matter how much you tweak them. Real HS mags were made of spring steel: these are not.Don't buy.

Correct magazine for gun, won't go in gun without pressing clip release, damaged mag trying to get in gun. Even when installed doesn't feed shells properly, I will be returning Mag, Its useless!

I purchased this magazine for a High Standard Sport King. Rounds would not even feed out of the mag. Removed the mag from the gun and it was hard to even remove the rounds (.22lr) from the mag itself. For all intents and purposes this mag is useless.
