The CRKT F.T.W.S. Fixed Blade Tactical Knife was designed by custom knife maker Allen Elishewitz. The F.T.W.S. features full tang construction of SK5 High Carbon Steel that is nearly one quarter of an inch thick. SK5 Carbon Steel was chosen for this blade because it is an extremely tough steel that can handle demanding tasks while being easily maintained in the field and will take an extremely sharp edge. The modified spear point tip offers increased performance when penetrating. Additionally, the spine of the blade features a four-inch chisel ground edge to handle serious chopping tasks without risking the primary cutting edge.
