Work good in 300 AAC blackout. The overall length is a little short. But fed and functions great for me.

This bullet works EXCELLENTLY in my 16" barrel 300 AAC Blackout! It overcomes my extremely fast (1:8) twist rate (designed to stabalize 220g subsonic loads) remarkably well to shoot 3/4" groups at 100 yards all day long with my pet load (Lil'Gun is the secret powder!) And, even better, it performs remarkably at BLK velocities, expanding very nicely w/out fragmenting. My load is 2300fps at the muzzle, and this bullet mushrooms nicely all the way down to around 1000fps. I couldn't be happier with this bullet... unless you count the less than ideal availability. =P

updating mylast review-now loading with varget and getting overlapping 3 shot groups @ 100yds with 10 to 20mph winds. In 308 dia the Sierra just works best for me, period. Other calibers I use and other brands but for some reason, these are like magic in any of my three 308s-even my old sav 99 shoots just over 1"@100yds Im sold...

I have shot 2 deer with these bullets with my .30-06, Using IMR4064 powder. 1st was a 165 lb. 5 pointer at 150 yards who dropped in his tracks on T-Day morning. Second was a 110 lb. doe at 200 yards 2 days later. She ran 30 yards and crashed with a quartering away shot. Great Bullet.

Had some of these loaded in my .308 Savage over some RE-7 to 3000fps intended them for coyotes and smaller game but I ran out of heavier loads for deer season and didnt have time to load any more so I decided to try these, haven't shot a deer yet but I got a dime size group on paper when I checked my zero. Hopefully I will get a deer this year to report on performance!

Great accurate round, shot a buck over 700 yards and dropped him. Also great coyote round to make an 06 even more versatile. I have shot 20 plus deer most dropped right in their tracks. Very accurate out of my Remington 700 BDL 30-06.

I used these to load up a low recoil deer round for my daughter's Model 7 .308. Well after dropping a 180 field dressed 150 class 9 point I was impressed. I kept "borrowing" her gun on my hunts and subsequently have killed multiple big bodied bucks, no doe. All were DRT. This is a highly accurate bullet, it barely kicks compared to 150 or 165 grain bullets and kills deer DRT. It is also inexpensive and fun to shoot. How can you go wrong ?

This is the bullet that does it for my Mini-30. A lot of people don't realize that even though the Mini-30 is chambered for "7.62X39" the barrel is .308 instead of .310. If you have had little or no accuracy with your Mini-30 try these. I get constant 1" to 1.5" groups at 100 yards with these.

I wanted a light bullet ...

I wanted a light bullet that shot flat and accurate with low recoil for my sons .308 win. This is the one, with Varget, CCI BR primers and Lapua Brass I managed to shoot .23 of and inch with 4 shoots at 100 yards. I am very impressed with this little bullet. Now we have to see how they perform on deer this season coming up.
