If you were like me, and ...

If you were like me, and have been researching to do your first pillar job, your search is over. Granted, it is not easy, nor did I expect it to be, but if you're going to do it yourself, I highly recommend this kit. You may even want to get the one with the bedding compound. Great company with great fitting pillars.

Bought this product and ...

Bought this product and installed them in a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle. Had no problems at all with this product. The pillows fit perfect. The installation depends on how well you understand and read the instructions. Best way is to install the pillows first with fast dry epoxy. Then inlet the stock and finish the bed job. This works best for me. With the screws and bolts it is a very easy installation. Be sure to use release compound on them and you still have them for future jobs. Excellent product.

Contour does not fit ...

Contour does not fit perfectly had to bed the pillars to my action. Also, MAKE SURE your escutcheon for the front action bolt is NOT epoxied in. Mine was. BIG pain.

Not for the garage ...

Not for the garage gunsmith. Need to have a router, drill, vise and several gunsmith hand tools at the least to do this! Not to mention tape, release agent and time and patience! Or you could just pay a gunsmith 80 bucks! Great if you get it into the right hands! Rifle went from 3" group to .50" @ 100 yards!!
