I bought this tumbler to clean pistol cases, 9mm, 45, 38 super, 44mag and 10mm. The bowl is good enough for 200 rounds at a time. Cases are shiny within a hour of tumbling. THe tumbler does not "dance" or creep around the floor like others. It is also good base for upgrading to a 1200 autoflo model for capacities up to 400 9mm. The latter is the best idea in tumblers. I also got one for this tumbler and it's very convenient. Just pull the rubber plug on the side of the bowl and it empties of the media in less than 2 mins. Its easier to get the cases. No more digging into the media to find the cases.If you have an existing tumbler, get the auto flow bowl. It has complete mounting accessories and dumping pan . Beats all other tumbler systems by a mile in terms of convenience.

Horrible. This is my first tumbler, which I use for .338 Win Mag brass. The flow of the media is not uniform around the bowl. The brass is sucked under the media on one side, pulled over to the other side where it is pushed up to the surface, stood up, and pinned against the wall. All the brass then stays pinned in a row with the top half of the brass out of the media, so I get a nice shiny belt and a dirty neck. I plan to buy a Hornady M2 this weekend.

Great small tumbler. It's upgradeable to the 1200 if you eventually will need more capacity. Comes with a little sack of corn cob media. This thing is actually fairly quiet. I leave it running in the basement and can't even tell that it's on. I like it. I'm happy with it. I recommend it.

A great tumbler while it ...

A great tumbler while it worked, had it two months and went to check on it...no tumbling; just a loud hum and lots of heat! Motor had seized. It would have been more trouble that it was worth to send it back to Lyman, so replace it I did...with a Hornady Tumbler. I will continue to buy Lyman products, just not their tumblers.

Had an off brand that was beyond repair. Turbo 600 is super. Brass clean in less than two hours. Holds enough, unless you plan a revolution. Quiet. Clean; easy to empty cases. Best value for recreational shooter/reloader.

This product is fine for what it is: a small capacity, low frequency use tumbler. Mine runs through about 100 rounds of dirty 38 special in around 3 hours, using treated Lyman corncob media. If you have more than a hundred or two cases to tumble a month, I would highly suggest getting a larger capacity. However, the workmanship, quality, etc. on this model is fine, again, for what it is.

This is the fist case ...

This is the fist case tumbler that I have ever used. It works quite well. It is also upgradable to the 1200 bowl per manufacturer's directions. I recieved mine with one pound of corn cob media.
