This 1-piece mount from Nightforce has 2 rings built in. Aluminum and titanium construction yields strength with a lightweight design. For use with any Picatinny-style rail. Note: rail must be a minimum of 6 slots long to accept this mount, and total length will extend over 10 slots.

Awesome!! Highest ...

Awesome!! Highest quality. Designed to be able to use one scope on more than one rifle. Use the Nightforce rails and then this base bolts and unbolts with ease and precision. Record where the tactical knobs are sighted in on each rifle and you can switch back and forth with just two nuts. Of course a couple rounds to make sure the zero is perfect, but thats a small price to pay to not have to purchase multiple tactical scopes at $1300 + each!!

Disregard my previous ...

Disregard my previous review!!! I was wrong AND I have been enlightened! Thanks to the techs at Nightforce and Leatherwood! Let me preface this by saying this is my 1st build and Im still and ALWAYS learning! According to Nightforce the nuts should be on the LEFT w/the extension towards the front. My problem with not enough elevation was that I had put the Nightforce mount w/20 MOA on a base that had 20 MOA and the total does not just add to 40 MOA, but trigonometrically much larger! And with the Bushnell 4200 having only a TOTAL of 44 MOA elevation there lies the problem! I still have no problems with either product as each are 5 stars in my book, its just the guy with the book! And for those that are still learning also: keep the scope close to the bore and optically centered. Use adjustable rings to keep the scope windage centered otherwise you could greatly affect your elevation! Even with the mount on backwards Im shooting high 380s/400! And now that I will be straightened out Ill be pushing out to 600 and beyond very shortly! SORRY for the longwinded re-review and I hope I didnt screw up TOO many with my 1st review.

Very light and very ...

Very light and very strong! Well made. Hint: I made the embarrassing mistake of mounting the scope on backwards, but found out very quickly when going to sight in and I found that my Bushnell Elite 4200 did not have enough elevation. It had me scratching my head for about 30 mins. until I decided to flip it around. The extended ring goes towards the EYEPIECE. I didn't know. There were no installation instructions included and this is my first scoped rifle. But the description didn't say anything about any elevation built into the mount either. No harm done. Just to my ego! Beautifully manufactured.
