I purchased these boxes ...

I purchased these boxes to hold .45 Colt short black powder rounds that I load. The box holds the loaded rounds perfectly. The hinged side is quite stiff but it does feel as though it will last through hundreds of openings and closings. The smaller size of the box, it holds 50 rounds, makes it easy to load several of them into metal military ammo cans if you want to keep your ammo protected from the elements.

Great ammo box, I use ...

Great ammo box, I use these to store my .44 magnum rounds, and other MTM boxes for my .44 special rounds, makes it easy to tell what's what. I'm a little concerned about the lid attachment since it's just molded thin plastic unlike the newer MTM ones with an actual hinge...but no problems on these or my .357 ones yet.
