I purchased this trigger ...

I purchased this trigger guard primarily because I did not like the "plastic" one on my Stevens 200. Granted it is an inexpensive rifle, but it shoots 3/8 inch groups. The steel trigger guard dresses up the rifle and adds durability.

A must have part for ...

A must have part for every Savage owner who has the plastic trigger guard! I couldn't believe a well known manufacturer such as Savage would even put such an unsafe, cheap part as a plastic guard on their guns. Mine broke while pulling the gun up into my deer stand. Tried to contact Savage about the defective part without success. Thanks to MidwayUSA for having this super nice replacement. I was unsure it would fit my model 111 since it wasn't listed specifically. It took less than 2 minutes to change out with a perfect fit. Not being sure if you can blue the stainless guard although I'm positive it can be painted to match. I decided to leave it like it came in stainless since it adds different contrast to the look of the rifle. Now I have the confidence in knowing that while using the Savage rifle I love, it is safe as it could possibly be with the addition of the trigger guard. I give it 5 stars for being a solid, sturdy, well made product. Thanks MidwayUSA for a super, great product!
