The SpeedDot 135 features fully coated lenses for a bright, sharp, clear and non-reflective sight picture. 35mm main tube is nitrogen purged and sealed to be water and fogproof. The SpeedDot features 11 brightness settings and is available in a 3 MOA dot size for precision shooting. Powered by a #2032 camera battery, this sight easily attaches to any Weaver-style mount.

I intended to put this on a handgun to be used in the woods,but the sight picture has a heavy "blue-green" tint.this tint not only darkens the sight picture,it distorts color,especially the browns.It might be ok for target play on a bright day but I would not take it into the woods

Sight is great, much better than cheaper brand. Dot is bright enough if you keep a new battery in it, but not as bright as a C-More.

I have used this 135 red dot on my s&w 460 xvr for 4 years now and 3 deer later. Great early morning scope.. I haven't had a problem, except for 1 I keep forgetting to turn it off, so 3 batteries later, all is still ok. never had to rezero it yet...

I bought this sight in 2002 from midway, it spent most of its life on a T/C encore .44 mag pistol. after 10 years of heavy use the on/off brightness setting knob quit turning and eventually twisted off the unit. I still gave it 5 stars because this sight led a hard life on top of a .44 mag, that got used often. it held zero, worked without flaw for nearly 10 years, will probably buy another

My Burris Speeddot 135 with 3MOA Dot lasted for a total of 12 whimp 10mm sight in loads (200 gr XTP at 850 fps) before the dot went out. Checked battery, which still was reading 3 volts on my multi meter. Replaced the battery with a new one and still no dot. Would not use it on magnum loads.

I've had this scope for 4 years. I use it on my Hi Standard .22LR, Victor for comp. target shooting. Never had a problem. The battery keeps going, going, and going. Nice 35mm for sighting and the dot is a nice round 3mm. I tried probably 6 different scopes before ending up with this. I have also tried friends high-end big bucks scope and this stood right along side them. The only draw back is the holding bracket and screw. Burris really slacked on those. Such an easy fix for them but they will not fix it. I email them every year and complain about it, to no avail. Oh another thing is they are the only company with 35mm, you can't find rings on the open market. But for the bang of your buck you can't go wrong.

I had this speed dot mounted on my Marlin 1895 (45/70 g with 22" barrel). It is an awesome sight and I have been able to shoot very tight groups at 100 yds with it o trouble. I am going to get one for my Guide Gun (18.5 " barrel) now.

Excellent scope. I have this on my High Standard Trophy bullseye pistol with no problems. It did not work on my 1911 because the rear ring was causing jams. Brass hit the rear ring and deflected back into the chamber. The battery issue that seems to be common with other users can be solved easily with a dime on top of the battery. This will take out all the play and ensure constant contact.

Light went out on second ...

Light went out on second unit received (see above) when slide was dropped on first round to be fired (.22 l.r.).Battery cap with integral o-ring seal must be VERY securely tightened to properly seat battery against contacts. Given the configuration, this is not as easy as it sounds. After this process, unit works as advertised. So far.Also, scope extension tube threads had "ding" which had to be stoned out, before extension could be attached to scope.Midway handled the return professionaly and efficiently.
