Product Information

Constructed of all steel and weighing only two ounces, the Mark 2 triggers are adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds of pull and feature a 3/16" wide serrated trigger. Additional features include a patented rolling sear override and require minimal modification to your stock when installed.

The trigger works fine, ...

The trigger works fine, but the item was not properly oiled and was rusty on arrival.The directions were hand-drawn and mimeographed on green construction paper. The pictures and dimensions were almost unreadable. I was not about to make the suggested alterations to my cocking cam based on these poor directions, so I just installed the trigger. Pull has no creep or 1st stage now.Trigger did not release even when dropped from 2 feet onto floor, trigger appears to be safe, but light!A couple other observations:Trigger itself is too wide to fit through 03A3 trigger slot and must be thinned.You must relieve trigger area underneath bolt for trigger to fit, especially on fiberglass sporter stock.I think the manufacturers should get serious and update their directions, their product would be greatly improved by a set of clear directions with a couple photos or clear drawings. Would have rated it higher, but the directions are dangerous in my opinion...

I tried this trigger in ...

I tried this trigger in my 1903. It installed without a problem, but the trigger pull was terrible... about nine pounds, with quite a bit of creep. Over-travel was correct. The most exasperating problem, however, was that the sear would not reset after the striker drops. It got stuck in the down position after every try.I took it to my gunsmith and asked him to look at it. After taking it apart, he found that the sear-pin had .012 back-and-forth slop in the sear-pin hole, the trigger pin had about .007 slop, the sear-trigger engaged at the extreme right corner because the engaging surfaces were ground at an angle, the trigger spring was binding on against the over-travel screw, and there were burrs and grinding dust everywhere.In short, he found this trigger to be completely unusable and I cant do anything about it because it had to be disassembled in order to find these problems. There are better triggers out there, folks.
