Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting bullets have been trusted by hunters for nearly 25 years. They are precision made and individually inspected for the utmost quality which translates to incredible accuracy with every shot. The heavy jacket base prevents bullet deformation during firing and holds together at extreme velocities as well as a polycarbonate tip that resists deformation in the magazine and initiates expansion upon impact. The bullet's mid-section keeps it together at any velocity until impact, and a uniform, pure lead core eliminates possible imbalance and erratic flight caused by air pockets. Great for thin-skinned game like deer, antelope and sheep. This is not loaded ammunition.

A good usable bullet

I had a lot of trouble getting these to settle down. After trying 3 different powders I found they do quite well in my Savage using H4831.

Not quite one holers but good for a 5 round tight cloverleaf. May be borderline heavy for my barrel twist. I'll still buy them & use them.

Shot a coyote in some ...

Shot a coyote in some brush with the wifes Browning 243 WSSM off the hood of my truck at 173 yards (range finder) and thought I missed. Drove up a realized he was DRT. What a nasty hole this bullet left. In the ribs and out the throat. I thought was going to have to get out the water hose to clean up the mess. She gets 1" groups with this round. Great Bullet.

I have taken two cow elk ...

I have taken two cow elk with this 90gr. Ball-Tip bullet. One loaded in a Cooper rifle chambered in 243 Win. at a lazered 318yds; the elk took 3 steps and went down done. The second one loaded in a Cooper rifle chambered in 6BR Norma at 70-75yds. This elk traveled maybe 35-40yds. and went down done. This bullet will get the job done when placed in the right spot.

Bought these to load in my "new" Remington M660 in 6mm. LOVE these bullets. First deer shot at about 45 yards through the ribs. I actually hit a thumb-sized sweet gum sapling on the way to the deer, she ran about 60 yards and I will admit that the bullet did separate...after it blew her heart, lungs, and ribs all to bits. Can't wait to see what it will do when I don't make a clean shot. I have never been disappointed with Nosler Ballistic Tips.

I shot these bullets and ...

I shot these bullets and the 95 grain NBT's in my ol 243 Ruger m77 for about ten years and they cause more damage to a deer rib cage than a lot of bigger calibers. They are hard enough to go in deep enough to get all the way to the skin on the off side. They are explosive enough to shoot a deer in the ham and ruin them both,(a youth hunters first shot while not a good one a lethal one). We took that deer to town and everyone who seen it asked what kind of cannon he shot it with LOL!! When he said 243 everyone looked at me and asked what I loaded that caused that much damage. Great for whitetail deer and hogs both. I will shoot these as long as they keep making em.

My favorite 243 bullet to ...

My favorite 243 bullet to date, and I've tried alot. This bullet seems to hold together well while expanding quickly. It's very accurate in my 243 1 in 10 twist. It works for deer while not wrecking bobcats with over-expansion. I have taken coyotes from 30 to 800yds with this bullet and not seen much difference in exit wound size. On a side note, a friend missed the 800yd coyote during a calling contest at 300yds and I hit him running at 800. I guess I'd rather be lucky than good.

Very good accuracy from my 6MM Remington. It performs ballistically as advertised in the Barnes ballistic Program. I killed 2 antelope in Wyoming this fall, one at 345 yards and the second at 206 yards. First one had complete penetration from a quartering front-on shot and exited intact enough to break the left femur and tear up the ham. Second was broadside and the exit hole was silver dollar sized. Both bullets appeared to remain fairly intact through the body (my assumption based on damage). I load these .003 off the lands for best accuracy in my gun. I use IMR4350 and Fed 210M primers.

This bullet improved a early 70's Rem. 700 in .243 win. from 1.75" to .75" groups with IMR 4831. At 200 plus yards it dropped a mule deer in Colorado with complete penetration through shoulders and lungs.
