This is what Remington ...

This is what Remington should have shipped with the rifle!! The plastic one that came with the rifle is a joke, a joke on all Remington fans who expect a quality product when buying the Remington name plate. I gave 5 stars to Midway for making this Remington steel trigger guard available to us. ( Buying from the Remington store is a pain!) As for the trigger guard itself, it is just a nice trigger guard from Remington which should have been on the gun to start with! ( Can not seem to say this enough) It is nice to be able to put the stock on and off without breaking the cheap plastic "toy thing" which the gun came with.

I bought these trigger ...

I bought these trigger guards to replace the plastic ones on my Remington 700 ADL SYN rifles. They match the black synthetic stocks and fit perfectly without alteration to either the trigger guard or the stock. The guard screws now snug down and stop abruptly, rather than squeezing into the plastic guard. These guards are enameled, not blued.

After cracking the cheap ...

After cracking the cheap plastic orig. piece, WOW what a difference! fits better and matches my finish perfectly. (not blued or dull finish)
