Be prepared to spend ...

Be prepared to spend hours getting this kit to function properly. I'm close to how I want the action to function but not perfect yet. I have been disappointed with Volquartsen's lack of technical support on this item, although they did send me several springs to try to resolve the cycling problem. I'm surprised as all other Volquartsen products I have purchased have been great.

Pros: Works well with all ...

Pros: Works well with all shorts including the CB from CCI, works with the factory trigger group as-is from factory.Cons: Expensive for what it is, did not work with a Jard trigger group, had a burr between the aluminum bolt and the steel strike plate on the bottom that hung up on the hammer (stoning lightly took care of it), no instructions/trouble shooting guide.So, yes I ruined the warranty trying to make it work but I succeeded. Others have mentioned that they had spring issues. Mine recoils quite forcefully and I recommend one get a bolt buffer if they are going to shoot high velocity much. I would buy it again even though there may be some trial and error involved to make it work.

My first "gunsmithing" project. Did this in about two minutes. Went to the range the next day, 100 rounds, no problems. Fun and rewarding, works great.
