Lee 2-Cavity Bullet Molds are a great choice for reloaders looking for a quality mold at an affordable price. Lee machines their mold blocks from aluminum making them rust resistant. Aluminum molds heat up and cool down faster than iron or steel molds and good bullets can usually be produced only after a few casts. In addition, aluminum blocks are one-third the weight of iron or steel mold blocks offering the bullet caster less fatigue during extended casting sessions. To ensure the best possible bullets, mold block halves are CNC machined for unmatched roundness and size control. Weights given are Lee's weights with suggested alloy; actual weight may vary due to the alloy mixture used.

I use this mold to produce 9mm bullets that I size down to .355 and load to 800 fps and they shoot great and function my smith great!

Very good mold. After ...

Very good mold. After short prep and full warm up, was dropping 0.360 high quality slugs after only 2 tries. Shoots very accurate in a T/C encore 357 mag rifle. I also managed to install a gas check on the cast bullet to prevent leading my gun barrel when firing maximum loads. I used a Hornady camlock bullet puller. After lubing the bullet w/ wax and using the appropriate sized puller collet, insert about 1/8 of the bottom driving band of the cast bullet into the pullers collet fingers. Actuate the puller lever to squeeze down the bullet diameter just enough to install a gas check with hand pressure. Crimp the gas check using usual methods ( I use a Lee bullet sizer die). With lube and gas check, I can fire the bullet to 1,600 fps w/o leading my rifle barrels. Ive done the same thing for my other cast bullets for pistol & rifle. This saved me a lot of dollar from buying FMJ bullets to fire full power loads in all my guns.

A good mold for 357 ...

A good mold for 357 revolver practice bullets. Easily broken in. After carefully preparing the mold as per Lee instruction and fluxing the lead, I was making good bullets in 3 tries- quite exceptional!! The mold loves straight wheel weights and drops 0.359" slugs. Lube used is javelina on a Lyman 4500. 2" accurate to 25 yds. What I also like is the bullet profile. The nose is round and short. Great for speed loading revolvers - no hang-ups on the cylinder chamber entrance. Lee is good stuff!!
