Product Information

The Jard trigger produces a crisp, clean trigger pull with adjustments for overtravel and sear engagement. Requires fitting and installation by a qualified gunsmith. This trigger also allows for the replacement of the trigger spring. Changing the spring will change the trigger pull weight, allowing you to customize the trigger to meet your specific shooting requirements. Fits the Mark 2 only, will not fit the 77 with a tang safety.

Please Note: This trigger may be modified by replacement of the trigger spring.

Trigger installed in less ...

Trigger installed in less than 30 minutes. Trigger pull is 2 lbs. Very smooth pull. Easy to install and adjust.

I purchased two of these ...

I purchased two of these triggers for my M77 Mark II Target .204's and they were plain junk. They were only slightly better than the factory triggers. After checking the Rifle Basix website I discovered that the factory had left out the trigger tension springs on both rifles. They both worked but could not adjust them. No wonder they were terrible. Found one spring in my collection of trigger springs and tried it with the factory trigger and it now works like the factory said it should. I will be replacing both triggers as soon as midway gets some other brands in stock. As a side note, I purchased Jard triggers for my m77-22 & m77-17 and they work just fine. Really like them.

Very nice trigger, easy ...

Very nice trigger, easy to install if instructions that come with it are followed. Greatly improved the shootability of my rifle. I have a Jard trigger on an AR 15 and it is very good as well. I will continue to buy and install these triggers.

Dull rough finish/did not ...

Dull rough finish/did not come close to matching my M77 stainless. Too much side to side play on pivot pins made for inconsistant break points. Used all 4 different springs. Could not get above 1-1/2 pound break. Had factory sear and spring re-worked and now 3 pounds and crisp.
