The holster back consists of top grain premium steer-hide and the leather front component is finished with a supremely durable polyurethane film for lasting beauty. Each Intruder is molded from genuine Kydex sheet to exact specifications.

Well this is no Cross ...

Well this is no Cross Breed holster for sure, but I didn't have to pay $90 for it either. This holster tucks my XD40 Sub Compact away very nicely. This is a fine holster for the money. It does only have two holes to adjust the cante of the weapon. I just took my dewalt drill and I was able to make the necessary holes to get the cante adjustment right where I needed it. I am not worried about voiding the warranty as I really doubt that I will ever wear it out. Just wear it for a few days to break it in and you will be quite happy to have it.

I agree with the first reviewer that the holster is not the fastest holster to get on or off, due to the strength of the clips and I don't have any of the concerns for cant and height adjustments. The holster is very comfortable to wear and draw from. I have used Crossbreed holsters in the past and this holster compares quite well at 1/3 of the price.

I have to agree with the other review posted by George Lee. I read his review and then the reviews for this holster for other guns that were very opposite his review. So, based on the price, I purchased it (actually 2). The quality of the leather is very good. Retention of my XD9sc is very good. However, my unmodified XD fit perfectly but my XD 9 with Crimson Trace did not fit and I had to make a cut in the Kydex to accommodate the laser. After that it was fine. The positioning of the rivets in the Kydex is poor. Edges stick out excessively. Very difficult to put on and take off. I have to undo my pants and take the belt out of the loops. But, once it's on, it's on for good and will not move out of place. Comfort is fair. Also agree that cant is poor. Only two holes available in the front and rear. As I mentioned, I made this purchase based on price. This product does not compare favorably to my Crossbreed Super Tuck. I will use the DeSantis as a backup but I did order another Crossbreed which has none of the above problems.

Fits great, can't tell you are even wearing it. Gun molding is perfect and weight of the gun is evenly distributed.

This holster is well made. The leather backing is nice and thick unlike other tuckable hybrid holsters adding to its comfort level. The kydex is molded in order to "lock" the gun in the holster for stability but releases my XDm Compact 3.8 with little effort. I have worn this gun and holster combination all day long with only minor complaints.As well as this holster is made, it has a few issues (the source of the minor complaints). There is not enough adjustment to properly address the cant of the gun which leads to discomfort. There are only two holes in the kydex clips and only one set of holes in the leather. One can add holes in the leather but doing so voids the warranty.There is a fix however. I purchased the kydex clips Comp-tac makes for their tuckable holsters. The Comp-tac kydex clips come with 5 holes in them for adjustment of cant and ride depth. This fix cost me an additional $20.00 but I have found that it was worth the cost because I am not only using the Comp-tac clips on this Desantis Intruder holster, I am also using them on my Crossbreed Mini-tuck I use for my Walter PPS. This fix works if you don't mind adding $20.00 to the cost of this holster.

Very dissapointed with ...

Very dissapointed with this holster. Description claims adjustable for the cante. The adjustment is extremely minor making the holster cut into my flesh. Also the picture shows three positions for the cante adjustment; only two on the actual belt clips, again making height adjustment minor. Had to remove my trousers to even get the thing positioned to MY desired carry position (making it not desirable for quick removal or attachment). Be sure to look each holster over carefully before you make a purchase especially if you plan to wear it continuously 7 days a week.
