Product Information

Mauser locktime is pretty slow by modern standards. A bullet typically travels through the barrel in 1 to 1-1/2 milliseconds. A Mauser's locktime might be as high as 9 milliseconds with the original pin and spring. These firing pins are made with an aluminum alloy shaft that is permanently bonded to a steel firing pin point. Reduces locktime by approximately 40%. Also increases striker energy by approximately 20%. A great accuracy upgrade for any Mauser 98 rifle.
