Frankford Arsenal Perfect Fit Reloading Trays are Superior to generic, "one size fits all" reloading trays. Frankford Arsenal offers these trays sized to a particular family of cartridges. Made of a lightweight composite polymer that will not break down from case lubes, solvents and other chemicals, providing years of service to the reloader. Easily cleaned with warm water and mild detergent.

If you are single stage ...

If you are single stage loader this is a must have. They fit properly for the caliber listed. Much better than the expensive green "one size doesn't fit all"

This is a nice tray, but ...

This is a nice tray, but I think the holes are too tight. Any slight burrs on the case rim make insertion and extraction more difficult. Rounds with flared case mouths cannot be inserted down if desired. It would be a perfect tray (like the 9mm version) if the holes were just slightly bigger. I'll probably buy another one anyway.

Especially good idea for shorter cartridges that set too deep in a universal type block. I also have one for 9 x 19 ("Luger"). I often use a dipper and a funnel and the funnel won't seat tightly over the case which sits too deep in a universal block. Powder then spills over into the block....doesn't happen with these Perfect Fit trays. Recommend highly.

Like this product, but the first trayes I bought from you all were the wood shell holders and wanted to add units to my collection now have half plastic and half wood. I do like the wood better cause they are not as slick as plastic. There are great to, the plastic ones and both are the same. I like to load more than 50 primed cartrages at a time when reloading. I have got friends to purchase also and they love them also. Were loading a group and sitting on the table with powdered and when there was no more room would seat the bullet and many cartriges were a lot turn over and spill this corrected this process, they really thanked me.

Shells fit perfect into these. I didn't have any of the problems of the holes being too small with many types of brass. I've already ordered two more in different calibers. GREAT product!

Love it! You can never have enough of these. Ideally I would have six to make 200 rounds at a time: four to hold 'em, an empty to move cartridges to after completing a stage, and another for those pesky small .45 small primer casings. In the three pistol calibers I load, these Frankford blocks have all been the same size, so they stack together neatly.

I've used all sorts of trays over my 30+ years of reloading. These are by far the best. They are caliber specific, and the cases fit somewhat "snug", but not tight. To me, that's a big benefit, since it doesn't allow the cases to wallow around in the holes. Those so-called universal trays just don't work as well. I like having at least 4 or so per caliber when I sit down for a loading session. And yes, for each 50 rounds I am loading, I use 2 blocks, one for before, and one for after the operation I perform. This is the only safe way if you're a single stage reloader, as I am. I have these in 40 S&W and 45 ACP, and highly recommend them.

To follow up on my previous comments: the 5s trays are not made to max rim dimensions. But! 90 percent of cases will work in these trays. Most of the brass that hangs up is brass that has an extractor burr on the rim. Most cases will fit after that burr is removed. That's a good practice anyway, for feed reliability. Large extractor burrs may indicate timing problem or extractor adjustment problem with the gun, so take that into consideration. Frankford says they are not going to change anything.

Since my previous review I have also noted that the 5s trays are too tight for all .45ACP cases. Spec on .45ACP is .480" and the 5s holes are around .475", which means that some cases will not fit. I have contacted Frankford Arsenal about this problem. Other calibers seem ok. A very good product otherwise.
