Product Information

The Redding Case Lube Pad is great for lubricating both rifle and pistol cases. Just put case lube (sold separately) on the pad and roll empty cases across the pad to get an even application. The storage container for the pad has rubber non-skid feet so the pad will not skate all over the reloading bench.

I've had one of these for 5 years - bought it as the lube + pad kit. The pad itself works great. So does the lube. Easy to clean, nice light film of lube on the brass. The plastic case on the other hand, is seriously allergic to the lube or something because just sitting in the drawer it warps and bends into uselessness. The top of my case developed nearly 3/4" of concavity and became essentially useless. I will be making a wooden tray to hold the lube pad.

I ordered one of these a while ago, and got it about a week ago, and when I opened it up to lube some cases, I realized that there was no pad inside. I dropped Redding an e-mail that evening, received a response by the next day, and a couple days later, received an envelope, not with the inner pad, but a whole new lube pad and case, and a product catalog. Most of my dies are Redding, as well as a handful of other reloading equipment, because it's quality stuff. This is the first time I've had to contact their customer service, and that's just as high-quality as their dies, it would seem.As for the pad, it's a nice combination of firmness and softness, and gets just the right amount of case lube on all your cases. It's big enough to roll five or more .308 cases on. It does just exactly what it should do.
