The Lee Load-Master Small Primer Feeder Trough Assembly is the perfect addition for your Load-Master press. Lee engineers made a great design change to the primer feeder so primer sliders will no longer be damaged during operation. The new Primer Feeder Trough Assembly now replaces the old primer trough and cover, primer slider, and primer lever.

In reference to earlier ...

In reference to earlier post this primer tough is a Generation 2, I contacted Lee direct and they advised that there was a Generation 3 to replace it they shipped me one, installed it and loaded 900 rounds. 3 no primes and one cocked primer. The new priimer turns the old workhorse into a racehorse.....end of problem. The Generation can be indentified by having a black trough and a white top.

Short and to the point, THIS IS TERRIBLE. this thing sucks, this thing should be called the primer crusher, I have had lee press for a while but this new primer system is many steps backwards, Called lee an no help there, just got a " we are working on it"

I found the new unit to be a huge improvement in function. I had a 10% failure rate with the old unit and a ton of frustration. Loaded 200 rnds of 40s&w and 500 rnds of 9mm; four failures. With the new unit the tip primers are seated and do not damage the primer feeder. I use my bullet puller a lot less.

Bad design. Had a primer explosion while priming. There was nothing wrong with the old design. Bring back the white and gray ones. I've had my Loadmaster for 21 years. If it is not broken... don't try to fix 'em. Lee... you messed this one up. First time in 21 years I had primers (5 of them at the same time) detonate while I was priming. Blew the crap out of the assembly and chipped the primer seater. Not to mention, it scared the crap out of me.
