These grips are really ...

These grips are really wonderful for easy and cheap concealed carry. My model 60 lady smith 357 can ride around all day comfortably with surprising little to no printing and the white color doesn't show through a t-shirt. It stays put much better than I expected and the handle is so small that it really doesn't even look like a gun handle when hooked on the belt. This though is its one problem in that the handle is so tiny it is difficult to shoot well. I normally carry full 357 loads, but with these grips I am too scared to try them. It is too bad that the attributes that make them so great for concealed carry, the smooth grip and tiny handle, also make it tougher to shoot comfortably. But since it is so easy to carry, I am learning to compromise. All in all I am much happier with the grips then I was with my holster.

This grip moves my ...

This grip moves my trigger finger too far out from the gun. It also is slick plastic, unlike the nice original grip of my S&W J Frame revolver. I put the original grip back on the gun, and the Hip-Grip back in its box.

I have had these grips on ...

I have had these grips on my S&W model 60 for 18 years and have never had a problem with them. They are perfect for concealing while wearing shorts and they have held up well shooting at the range. The only thing you need to pay attention to is after every time I shoot I make sure the screw is still tight. Once in a while it will loosen up but has never backed it's way completely out. Money well spent!

Good Idea but made with a plastic that does not hold up. This should be made with an impact resistant nylon, glass filled epoxy something that will not crack or break when it hits the floor.

These grips are great if ...

These grips are great if you live in a warmer climate where you wouldn't wear of clothes. I can conceal my S&W 637 under a tank top wearing a pair of board shorts with no problems at all.

Worked fantastic for ...

Worked fantastic for concealed carry. However, these grips did not hold up to the torque produced by my 12oz Titanium S&W Model 340. The grips started to loosen after one range session with .38 +P loads, and the next session where I fired .357 loads caused them to crack where the screw was. I would consider a new set on a heavier revolver firing 38 loads only, however.

This is an absolutely ...

This is an absolutely brilliant product for concealed carry users. It allows a quick draw for my Smith and Wesson 640 and is much more convenient than any holster. It needs a finger grip filler in front, so I use a Tyler T-Grip Adaptor. It also helps me conceal my gun deep inside my pants for extra concealment. After several years, I have had no problem with it, and was worth every penny I paid. Concealed carriers: get rid of your expensive inconvenient holsters, a Barami and Tyler combination is the way to go for easy concealed carry applications!!

Love it Love it Love it. ...

Love it Love it Love it. My dad had the hip grip on his 38 special 25 years ago. I got one for my 340PD and haven't had any issues with it. I love the way it carries and offers deep concealment. I also have clipdraw for my Glocks since I don't like holsters.
