Purchased these sights to ...

Purchased these sights to increase visibility during dawn and dusk small game hunting. Found that I could not adjust rear sight low enough to bring point of impact onto target. Lowest setting was about 3" high at 50 ft. Rear sight was not very durable. Broke during the third outing.

These sights are worthless. They look good, but the rear sight doesn't adjust low enough and therefore all your shots will be high. A total waste of money. I wish I would have read the other reviews (which state the same thing) before I bought mine.

Poor construction, rear ...

Poor construction, rear sight cannot be lowered enough. Would not adjust below 8" high @ 50 yards. Have since put it in a vise and bent it, in order to bring it closer to the barrel. Have not tried it as yet. Try another, this is useless.

This sight doesn't work ...

This sight doesn't work with the sporter weight barrel, the one most people are probably buying it for. Like the reviewer above, my factory barreled gun shoots 8" high at 50 yards and I can't adjust the rear lower to bring POI down. I'm not willing to go with a higher front sight so I guess I'm out the $$ and will try the Williams set which has a lower rear.I also don't like that the rear sight is a metal base but the notch fixture is plastic.

I bought these to try and ...

I bought these to try and remedy the horrible front sight that comes on the Ruger 10/22.The Tru-Glo front sight is ok, the rear sight is not good. On my particular rifle, I couldn't get the rear sight adjusted low enough. The rear sits in the factory dovetail and has a screw adjustment that presses on the barrel to raise elevation. There is no way to get it any lower as it's kind of springy and won't lay flat against the barrel. My next move will be to try the tru-glo front sight with the factory rear. Maybe that will work. I'd advise trying another brand that has better construction.
