The lightweight, fiberglass A-2 Tactical Stock was designed using input from the U.S. Marine Corps and the F.B.I. It is the most widely used and duplicated field sniper stock available today. A vertical pistol grip and extra-high comb provide for better prone shooting and improved seated benchrest shooting. The forend is tapered downward from front to rear, which allows for minute of angle elevation adjustments by sliding the rifle forward when using a front sand bag. Semi-inletted stock is for right hand only and must be fitted to specific action. Fits varmint barrel contours. Recoil pad and sling studs are pre-installed.Action may be bedded to stock, but acceptable accuracy is possible without bedding. The manufacturer recommends a
free-floating barrel. Barrel channel is made with .050" clearance so the barrel should remain free-floating after action is
installed in the stock.
Material: Multi-layer fiberglass cloth laminated with epoxy resin. Receiver area is filled with solid fiberglass, forend is
filled with epoxy and glass beads. Butt portion is filled with urethane foam.
