Have been hunting with 6mm Remingtons for 24 years. I have tried 6 or more bullets over the years. This one has been as reliable performer as I have found. Dont let the hollow point fool you, thisbullet penetrates, expands, and in most instances exits with extreme internal tissue damage on whitetails of all sizes. H4350,3200 fps. Oh yeah, accurate too.

Very Accurate, but broke up on Yodoie Dog's RIBS. Did not exit on 37 pound Coyote. I put these to PAPER and PRAIRIE Dogs ONLY. No repeat buy here.

Amazing Performance

I decided to try a reduced, low recoil load for my younger kids for deer hunting this year. After going to the Hodgdon website, I found load data using H4895. Slowed these bullets down to about 2600 FPS. I took my wife out last weekend to try these bullets out on a doe. However, the does didn't show, but a good sized 6 point came out at about 125 Yards. One Shot and this buck hit the dirt. Excellent Terminal performance. Full penetration with very little meat damage. I have found a perfect bullet for a caliber that has an uncanny ability to kill big game.

varmint devastator

I have used this bullet for years as a VARMINT bullet that is what it was designed for and it is fantastic, it really shines at long range. I have killed a deer with it but I do not recommend it for that as it is way to explosive. As for varmints this is the only bullet I use in my 243.

The only bullet for a 243. This is a hunting bullet that shoots like a match bullet. Its perfect for coyote elimination and deer. In my 22" barrel Tikka T3, I originally used IMR 4064 at 3,100fps but have since switched to RL-17 at 3,220fps. My loads are 1/2" groups at 100yds. Zeroed at 200 yards makes 100yds 1.5" high, 150 yards 1.4" high, and 300 yards 6" low (for those long range coyotes).

Very accurate bullet in my Stevens 200 .243. I am getting .50" groups @ 100 yds using IMR 4895. I have not had the chance to hunt with this bullet yet, though it's results on deer are almost legendary.

Deadly and accurate.I shot a doe this past deer season with max load of H-380 and this little bullet.It flipped the deer completely over,shot throught the ribs quarter size hole entry and baseball size exit,lots of razor like pieces of bone in the rib cage.Never seen anything like this from any other gun-bullet combo.

Really good and really bad.The Good. This bullet is extremely accurate. In a 243 Winchester loaded with Varget, this thing holds 1/2 moa all day long at 100 yards. Its deadly on Deer. Shot 2, neither took a step.The Bad,... Fairly expensive bullet compared with the other 6mm choices.Also, this bullet shoots about 13 inches higher than any other 243 ammo I have purchased or loaded. I had to completely rezero my weapon, and if I want to shoot anything else, I have to rezero again. All 243's, regardless of weight or construction, be it HP, BT, Poly tip, soft tip, partition, 70 grain 95 grain 100 grain, all shot within an inch of each other,... but this 85 grain is consistently 13 inches higher. Off the page. If you ONLY shot this ammo, it wouldnt be a big deal.

I picked up a couple boxes due to a local shortage of Ballistic tips, and Im thankful I did. A T/C predator that I rebarreled to .243 went from shooting 3/8 in, which was good, to shooting a five group string that ran from a best of .088in to a worst of .210in. Needless to say this is the bullet for my rifle! A custom Encore 15in pistol I built, will also be fed this bullet with a little faster powder for run and gun blind hunting for whitetails. Very happy with this bullets performance!

At 2950 fps, very accurate and very devastating on east coast whitetails. Six dead deer this year all with this bullet. Head shot, neck shot, heart or lung. Doesnt matter, they are going down. The only cautions I would suggest is to not aim anywhere near meat that you want to eat. Really large animals, over 250 lbs, be careful with shot placement too.
