Product Information

High-velocity ammunition loaded with premium hunting bullets for excellent terminal performance. Bonded-Core style bullets are true heavy-duty hunting bullets of the highest quality. Each bullet is carefully weighed, swaged and inspected by hand to ensure that you have the strongest bonded bullet available. The soft lead core is bonded to the outer jacket to make a bullet that will not break apart. These bullets stay together when pushed to very high velocities - they expand producing excellent knockdown power and stay in one mass to provide deep controlled penetration. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.

This is more a comment on cor-bon customer service. I was interested in this specific ammo because it is powerful but not loaded to absolute max specs (that scares me with a stock barrel.) Unfortunately, they are out of stock as is midwayusa.com. However, calling cor-bon directly to inquire about the ammo, I was shocked when a person answered the phone. They answered all my questions seemed to be in a pleasant mood and when the first person couldn't answer one of my questions they transferred me to "the lady that handles that". No automated answering, no on hold queuing just friendly down to earth people answering on the first ring. Cor-bon has long been my favorite ammo and now I'm as impressed with them as I am with midwayusa.com for offering not only fine products but excellent customer service.

I have only moderate ...

I have only moderate experience with this ammo, but it looks very good so far. I have fired it in a Dan Wesson Pointman and it has proven to be very accurate. I originally had concerns about feeding with the soft lead exposed tip, but my concerns have proven to be unfounded. It feeds very reliably. I bought this ammo for deer hunting and have not had the opportunity to utilize it for that purpose thus far.
