This stands up to abuse, I have shot at this thing all day with .22 to 9mm to .38 special. I've not tried .357's.As others have said, the stand and legs are not stable. What I did is cut a pair of 2x4's, then drill a hole through them so the legs fit snugly (I think its 5/8" ?) then the target stands-up with the support of the 2x4 wood as a base.

The bottom legs needed to be longer so the bottom 2 targets are not sitting on the ground, I just shoot the top one mostly pretty good though maybe buy another one so I could shoot back and forth combat style.

I had doubts about these due to a long history of dissapointments with similar targets, but this one really impressed me. I shot it several dozen times with full-house 45ACP at approx 20yds, and it held up great. It is a little lacking in the way you mount it in the ground, and if you are shooting on soft ground it will move a little. Mine slipped a little, but not enough to re-position it all. All in all, a great deal.

Fantastic target. I'd like to buy a few more of them to set up at our range. If you set it up properly, it is rock steady. We've been shooting at it for a year now with everything from .22 to .45 ACP and have not yet knocked it down. Shove the back legs into the ground, don't shoot it with anything too hot, and this thing will last a long time.Like the other reviewer, this target is set up backwards and would be more stable if the legs were facing to the rear.

If you set it up like it is shown in the picture for the listing, that could be the reason it falls down. The back legs should be, well, in the back.

It works just fine as long as you use electrical tape on the legs or something to keep them from moving. The tape is not very noticeable and it keeps it from falling over. Just make sure to get the angle right before you secure the legs. Would give it better ratings it it already came with some way of locking them in place.
