    The inReach from DeLorme keeps you connected to the rest of the world, no matter where you are. Designed to be paired with your smartphone, the inReach is a safety and communication device that everyone heading to remote areas should have. The inReach allows for interactive SOS, keeping you in constant communication and improving emergency response. This system also allows you to message via email or SMS, or even post to Facebook, Twitter, or a shared map. The follow me/find me tracking provides GPS tracking accurate to within 5 meters. Users can also leave breadcrumb trails, marking what routes they have taken, making location in emergency situations easy. The inReach also allows you to navigate maps via your smartphone, even in locations with no cell service.

  • One-time activation fee of $19.95
  • There is no charge for moving up to a better subscription plan, but there is a $24.95 for moving down a subscription plan

  • Safety Plan- $9.95 monthly, unlimited SOS, 10 messages per month, no tracking included, $1.50 overage per message, $.25 overage for tracking.
  • Recreation Plan-$24.95/month for year subscription or $39.95/month for seasonal subscriptions (4 month minimum), unlimited SOS, unlimited predefined messages, 40 from inReach messages/month, unlimited tracking, $.50 overage per message.
  • Expedition plan- $49.95/month for year subscription or $64.95/month for seasonal subscriptions (4 month minimum), unlimited SOS, unlimited predefined messages, 120 from inReach messages/month, unlimited tracking, $.25 overage per message
