This pressure switch replaces the tail cap of Hell Fighter flashlights, making activation of a light easier when mounted on a firearm's rail. The switch uses a 6" long cord to allow for various installation options on the host gun and enabling you to position the switch where it will be most effective.

Very affordable and rugged alternative to more expensive name brands out there, I hope Hell Fighter catches on with more users. I bought this switch to use with my X8 flashlight. Like another reviewer, it wouldn't work out of the box until you remove the anodizing at the very end of the flashlight housing. Once that's done (6 seconds with 150 grit), it works flawlessly every time I hit the button.

did not work at all, at first, once it was screwed on the contacts floated freely, back and forth. It seemed like it was missing a spacer to fill in a gap, I used a #8 O ring from plumbing hardware store. That made it have good contact but it still dint work, I look at the click switch that came with the light and the threads on it are bare metal, the threads on the tap switch tail cap are painted and so is the very back of the light body where the contacts are supposed to mate up. I sanded the paint off the back of the light. The light with tape switch works great now, has a nice positive click when squeezed, most tape switches dont. good product but it should work out of the box, no mods.

Works as expected and attaches securely to the X8 I bought it with. I only wish the Velcro-like attachment was permanently affixed to the pressure pad rather than just a peel-and-stick piece supplied in the box. Time will tell how well it stays stuck as the pressure pad is slighly rounded on both sides.
