I put this on a Savage .300 WinMag. Very clear!!
I shot my friends .338/.378 with a Leupold and in my opinion this scope is just as clear. Holds zero even with the heavy recoil of my rifle.

I've been running this scope on my new Bushmaster ORC 308. Made 3 range trips so far. I am impressed by the fact that even at full power; the entire field of view is clear. I like the mildot reticle & hope to start figuring out distances withhold overs at different distances. Strong enough to see your shots clearly on paper out to 200 yards. I'd recommend to a friend & also would buy another if I had the need.

I plan to put this thing on my Savage 93r17 bull barrel. For what I do--plinking, paper-punching, and some varmint extermination--this seems like the scope for me! When I only paid $300 for the gun/scope combo in the first place, I couldn't see paying out the nose for a Leupold or the like, and I found this BEAST of a "cheapy." I was turned on to these scopes by their high ratings wherever I looked on the Internet, and also its very modest price. GREAT amount of zoom for my .17 HMR, especially for the "paper-punching" aspect. Mil-Dots for varminting will help adjust on-the-fly, as wind likes to carry the .17 away with a slight puff. So far, I've just gotten the chance to look at the windage/elevation knobs. They are VERY user-friendly, with a nice portion jutting out for super-easy adjustment for old and young hands alike. The clicks while turning the knobs were nice and loud, too. The only thing I don't necessarily care for is the 1/8" adjustments, but it's not that big of a nuisance at all. It just seems to work, on all accounts! I plan on writing another review on how well it performs when sighting in. Hopefully, this scope will live atop my little .17 for years to come!

This is the second Konus ...

This is the second Konus that I have bought (My other is a 3X12X50) I love these scopes, granted they are not a Leupold, but for the money you just cannot go wrong!! It has great eye relief, and like the other reviewer when setting up your adjustment its 100 Yards is not 100 yards, but its close enough to fine tune, I have no issues with it in bad weather, and am glad I bought it!!!! If you have 800 dollars get a Leupold, if you don't buy a Konus!

This is a very well built and attractive scope. I had it mounted on my 7.82 warbird for a short time to break my barrel in. It held zero and adjustments were true. I cannot think of a better test than this caliber!
