One look and you know Xtreme Tactical Rings are all about point-of-aim security and durability. The super-strong yet surprisingly lightweight, six-screw aluminum rings anchor scopes in place on any Picatinny rail or Weaver-style base to deliver unfailing return-to-zero. Available in 1" and 30mm sizes, a choice of four ring heights accommodates the installation of any sight from red-dots to large objective target scopes. The 1" height is perfect for all scopes on AR15/M16 flattop receivers, providing proper cheek weld. Designed and built for the rigors of tactical shooting and massive recoil, Xtreme Tactical Rings are not out of place on varmint rifles or big game rifles that may be exposed to the abuses of hard hunting and magnum recoils.

Rings are very solid and strong and a good value for the price. Mounted to 7.62mm DSA FAL with Leupold Mark 4 tactical scope and heavy duty DSA rail top cover. The rings have stood up to a lot of punishment. Only issue is with see through holes on high model, they are off center of the mount bracket for 1911 Mil-spec Picatinny rails, as the holes are off slightly to the right side of the base opposite from the lockdown bolts, preventing true see-through ability for iron sights if desired. Otherwise a fine product.

These rings look plenty beefy for most applications but they will not hold the scope in place on my 50 BMG.

I have these 30mm rings and also several sets of the same rings in 1", the extra high are the perfect height or mounting scopes on an AR, great rings at a very reasonable price!

I mated a set of these rings to my Swarovski Z6 on my POF 308. I've been using them a couple of years and I haven't had any problems at all. If the extra once or so is not an issue I would highly recommend them.

I bought 2 sets of these rings to mount scopes on my 2 DPMS LR308 uppersThe rings are very strong and rigid and hold the scopes firmly in place.You have to be careful when tightening the 6 screws down and be sure to tighten them in a cross pattern to make sure they all tighten evenly, this is normal for anything using multiple screws to secure something in place. As long as this is done these rings should hold your scope in place on any rifle including the mighty .50BMG, I have a different set on my own BMG so cant say for sure but cant see a scope moving in these rings if secured properly.I agree with the previous reviewer about the "see through" holes, these are Not see through holes but are there for weight reduction.Overall these are very solid, strong, rigid rings and have done an excellent job of securing my scopes in place. Ill be buying more of them as I need them, for the price you cant go wrong with these rings.RemMax

I mounted these rings on an AR-15 DPMS 20 inch target upper. They provided perfect eye relief and height for my Millet 4-16x 56mm sniper scope. These rings come with torx screws and look and feel top quality. These will not be the last set I buy, I guarantee that !!!

Brought these for my AR-15. Height is perfect. Quality is superb. One odd thing you should know is that they do not exactly center your scope above the centerline of the Picatinny rail. They are offset about 0.040" to the right - just enough be noticeable. I consider this offset, intentional or not, to be a flaw. While it is true that 0.040" will not introduce much parallax error to the point of aim, I still would have preferred my scope to be centered more precisely above the bore of the rifle. I don't think it would matter in most applications but I think potential buyers should be aware of the issue and factor it into their decision to purchase.

These are massive and sturdy. Extra high is a little tall on my Ar-10 and super sniper combo. You can't find stronger rings for three times the price.
