These are well made moon ...

These are well made moon clips. Very flat and strong, made from a good quality spring steel. They have minimum burrs from manufacturing, but some minor de-burring is still necessary. Because it is not mentioned I will note that these Clips are .022" (+/- .0005") thick. The only moon clip I've found to properly fit the tighter extractor groove of most winchester brass. I say "most" because there are some odd ball winchester cases that will occasionally not seat or be too tight in the clip. All Remington and Federal brass will fit but is noticeably loose and wobbly but they will stay captured in the clip.

These work smoothly in my 686P holding the cartridges with only a tiny bit of wobble. They fit the Moon clip tool without any binding. Also make it easier to carry spare ammo in my backpack.

The product is well made. Will not fit S&W 686P 7rd without the cylinder being cut down. I asked when I placed order about this and was told they would fit standard S&W 686.

Good product. Some clip ...

Good product. Some clip to clip variation, most are nice and tight, some have a loose hole or two. Like all .38 clips they are brass sensitive. Mine would not accept Winchester cases, but Federal and Remington work very well. The overall rating currently shown is very unfair to the manufacturer. It's just not right to rate a product poorly when there was no defect.

The moon clips are designed to work with cylinders that are cut to accommodate them. Go to S&W website and review the revolver you have to see if it is cut, not all revolvers are made to use moon clips, if not, you cannot use them without that modification. Moon clips are an excellent means of loading and unloading your revolver. I have them, I use them and I love them. The moon clips I have bought from Midway work very well with my Performance Center Revolver, it's a thin sampling cut piece of metal. How simple can it be?

The product will not work in my S&W 686+ without having the cylinder cut down, they're not as thin as I thought they would be. They are nice and smooth though, and look like a quality product.
