I ordered these screws ...

I ordered these screws for my 9mm P229 E2, after calling SIG Sauer's customer service I was told to order these even though they are made for the .40 S&W model. All P229 E2's and P229's with the new E2 style grips use the .40 S&W frame regardless of caliber. While some previous reviews refer to the head as a Torx T20, it is actually a Torx Plus IP20; while you can install them with a Torx T20, it is not recommended as it can cam out the screw. You can find a Torx Plus screwdriver or bit online for pretty cheap. The screws seem well made and come with a dab of threadlocker pre-applied. I would recommend these screws to anyone needing grip screws for their P229.

If you own a Sig P229 and ...

If you own a Sig P229 and you need to replace a factory grip screw, then buy these. They are better than other "aftermarket" ones. Also, make sure you have a Torx 20 to fit them and then you won't strip anything. I used these to install a set of Hogue grips and they work perfectly.

These screws greatly ...

These screws greatly improved the appearance of my Sig P229. They look much nicer and more symmetrical than the flathead screws, and the Torx heads are much less likely to suffer damage when removing/installing them. They are size T20 heads and come with a small amount of Loctite Red applied to the threads. I purchased these to use for the installation of my new Crimson Trace LG-429 grips and they worked perfectly with no intrusion into the magazine well. I highly recommend.
