Varmints and predators beware! Nosler's ballistic Tip Varmint Bullets are designed for violent expansion upon impact. The bullet is tipped with a polycarbonate tip which rapidly drives back forcing the thin jacket to expand and fragment. The heavy base prevents deformation during firing and the boat-tail design increases the ballistic efficiency of the bullet. This is not loaded ammunition.

This is a Varmint bullet, ...

This is a Varmint bullet, but works great on antelope. I've got two custom built rifles in 6m/m-250 tight neck .266 Neck Dia. This is another great wildcat caliber. This ballistic- tip bullet bucks the wind well and most of the time puts antelope down on the spot. Great varmint bullet. I would not use this bullet on deer go to the 90 or 95gr. for deer.

My preference is to do a ...

My preference is to do a little reloading for my 243 Win Savage 110. My amazement realized after shooting different loads of Barnes 62 and 85 grain bullets, store bought 100 grain bullets out of several friends guns and my fiberglass bedded "stock Savage" I bought from a pawn shop. We found reasonable grouping out of all those rounds and guns. When I put into action the loads made from these Nosler 80 grain bullets, I found a whole new unbelievable account. The wind had died down at the end of the day to a steady light breeze. Never before have I seen my shooting to a degree of 3 shots touching at 220 yards. I couldn't believe it but it was true. Frankly, I was shaken with emotion & couldn't believe my eyes and also couldn't wait to call and tell my buddies Chris and Bryan. No need to keep trying different loads and bullets for me. Win 760 powder and Nosler 80 grain bullets. Period. Waiting for my next shipment of Noslers to arrive.

I was looking for a ...

I was looking for a bullet/load that would offer good expansion on woodchucks at ranges between 50 and 500 yds. and would also perform well in windy conditions. Although I have only been in the field once since sighting in with these bullets the results are very satisfying. Bullet expansion is totally effective on the woodchucks and the transfer of energy is typical of a much larger round. The bullet/load shoots extremely flat and I missed 2 shots anticipating a greater effect of the wind on the bullet than was actually experienced. This load is in the Nosler Reloading Manual for the .243 WSSM using IMR 4895.

I loaded these in my ...

I loaded these in my .243WSSM and I'm punching 5 bullets inside a dime at 100 yards and 50% plus hits on silhoetts at 800 yards. The misses are more mine than the bullet's. Accuratcy is awesome!

These 80 grain ballistic ...

These 80 grain ballistic tip Nosler's are the most accurate bullets I have shot out of my Ruger mark II 243. These are the bullets I will continue to use as long as they perform like they are. Haven't had a deer or coyote move after the shot. Amazing bullets.

This was the second ...

This was the second bullet I shot out of my Savage 110. The best groups I have ever seen come out of any sporter barrel and the best part is I spent 370$ on the gun. If you want a wind buckling bullet for your 6mm I suggest you try this bullet. If most all your coyote hunting is done at less then three hundred yards a would much rather go with a heaver bullet.
