A MUST for anyone who's ...

A MUST for anyone who's thinking about venturing into the field. I must have maybe 6 of these. Since I have these, I've never used another else to start a small fire. Any knife or key dragged across the length of the flint will create lots of sparks. Shave off some magnesium from the bar, add a little kindling and there's your fire.A must for any CAP cadet or someone on a SAR team. Tip: Don't just buy one.

Atlanco Mil-Spec Magnesium Fire Starter is Wonderful!!! Even if you get it wet it will still create a spark. I use it to light bonfires or when i am hunting in the woods... IT'S A MUST FOR ALL OUTDOORS MEN!!!
