Does this stuff work? Yes!It easily removes powder fouling and also removes lead fouling. I think it compares equally with Hoppes No.9 Benchrest for those two items. The first thing I noticed was a lack of odor. And since it is non-toxic, I feel better about using it. First time use on cleaning a shotgun was no faster or easier than using any other powder solvent. The second time was much quicker and third time was also an improvement. The same was also true for cleaning revolvers shooting lead bullets. I can't give it five stars because I have yet to try it on copper fouling. It is definately worth a try. Hoppes Elite is now my standard bore cleaner.

It just doesn't work like it says. It doesn't remove any lead/carbon powder residue on the cylinders of my stainless revolvers. I thought it might be doing a fair job on my barrel bores, but I was wrong. I ran a patch through one of them with a little Flitz paste metal polish on it. The Flitz worked great. It was amazing how much crud the Flitz removed. It also removed the fouling from the cylinders on my stainless gun with just a little rubbing. It's Flitz from now on for these jobs.

Cleaning guns couldn't be ...

Cleaning guns couldn't be easier. This is the only solvent I will use on any of my pistols, rifles, or shotguns. Spray a little down the bore and let it sit while you clean the rest of the gun, then run a boresnake through the bore 2 or 3 times and you've got a squeaky clean gun.

Quite an improvement over ...

Quite an improvement over good 'ole No. 9. The nice thing about this is it cleans leading better than No. 9 and I can clean the parts inside while watching TV without fuming up the whole house.I also use the bore gel and found it works outstanding on copper. Just let it sit a couple of minutes and the rags will come out blue. The gel is just a more concentrated version of the cleaner.

I was really amazed. I have tried so many cleaning products I can't count them. From CLP's to bore burning copper removers. This product shocked me in how well it worked. I am not easily impressed. I wet the brush, five times in and out, one wet patch, one dry, done. This product left the barrel and cylinders spotless on my single actions that shoot lead and it worked the same on my semi autos that shoot jacketed rounds. If you are frustrated with what you have tried so far, buy a 4oz bottle and be amazed.

OK, I agree it's virtually odorless.But I must be the only person for which this product just plain has not worked. I have tried letting it soak 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and overnight. I have tried several applications. I have tried it in smooth bore shotguns, revolvers and military rifles. Regardless, I can always get more crud out by following up with Hoppe's #9.Maybe I received a bad batch.

I won't use anything else ...

I won't use anything else after using this product. Doesn't stink up the house, and each time you clean your guns it seems to take less effort and time. Well worth every penny. But you'll still need a copper cleaner for high velocity rifles.

You get what you pay for. ...

You get what you pay for. A little more cost makes a big difference in cleaning time. This product works faster and seems to do a better job than any field cleaner I've used so far, especially leaded barrels. The added benefit is non-toxicity and a near lack of any scent. It's worth the price.
