Product Information

MAX-50 rings are 1" wide at the base, giving them 60% more holding power. Utilizing 6 Torx screws to distribute the load, they provide the maximum amount of holding power while minimizing the chance of damaging the scope. Machined from steel as matched pairs and serialized, these Mil-Std-1913 compatible (Picatinny-style optic mount) rings are designed for use with the 50 BMG.

CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter on your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

These are the best period. I've used the USMC 6 front 4 rear for years and these are even solider. Scope sits just slightly higher than USMC setup; but not enough to require a comb raising kit. If you have a scope zero problem with these rings the problem is your scope. I've mounted these on Remington 5-R 700's from .223/5.56 to 300 Win Mag and ran them from 50 to over 1000 yds without scope drift or impact shift. I've gone so far as to shoot comp rounds without even lapping these rings and had no troubles. If you can find a better ring e-mail me and I'll try it!

These rings are the absolute best you can buy. Pair these with a Badger 20 MOA down rail and you will have the finest mounting system available. Remember, you get what you pay for.

These rings are rock ...

These rings are rock solid, extremely robust and very well made. All bolts are torx, which I prefer since they never strip or cam out. Also, the recoil lugs run the full length of the picatinny slot and are true to picatinny spec and not weaver. Many bases have a lightening cut down the middle of the rail so this extra surface area is nice. I only wish that the lug extended further down into the slot for even more contact. The clamping tab fits perfectly and is designed in such a way that that it doesn't tip like so many other similar tabs. The locking nut is captured and didn't exhibit any wear when I tightened it down. Everything seems to have been heat treated to a very durable hardness level.I installed a Bushnell Elite 4200 with these rings. The only issue I had was that I had to press the scope into the lower ring halves. It only took a small amount of pressure. But with previous rings, they rested in the lower rings by the force of gravity alone. On the other hand, this might be a good thing and provide greater holding strength.Time will tell if these rings are really as good as they seem. A year or two of shooting and a scope change will give me the best overall impression of them. Right now, I'm giving them a 5.
