The NcStar Micro Reflex Red Dot Sight is great for use on everything from a 22 caliber handgun to a hard hitting shotgun. This sight features an aluminum body with heads up display for fast target acquisition. At only 1.8" long and weighing in at only 1.3 ounces you will hardly notice that this sight has been added to your firearm. The 2 MOA dot size is great for shooting out to 100 yards, or farther if your target is large, and the integrated Weaver-style mount works on any Weaver-style and most Picatinny bases.

I bought this sight before taking the time to read the reviews on this page so I was worried. But when the sight arrived, I was surprised to find it was actually a nice little sight, making me wonder about the kind of shooters wrote them. I had none of the problems listed above. The switch didn't fall off, nor did the lens, and the parallax of the sight is fine. I put it on my Camp 9 with a choate collapsible stock for shooting in carbine competitions. It works fine. I think that the reviewers should know what they are talking about. maybe they should step up and pay $600 for an eotech and have someone show them how to shoot it.

Ok for air guns or BB guns only. Pretty much trash all around. Cheaply built and won't hold a zero. All NCStar products are pretty much cheap built junk for toy guns.

Overall it gets the job done. The main problem: dot is blurry. So far I have not had any problems with it holding/adjusting to zero. I've only had it on a mk3 ruger, it's a good plinking/hunting sight not a target sight.

Stay away from this sight, when I got it out of the box it did not work. I called NC star and there customer service is terrible. Wasted 60 bucks on this.

I agree with most comments on here. I bought this red dot with the triple tactical package, and yes it is honestly a piece of garbage. I would not put this thing even on a paint ball gun, let alone an AR 15 rifle. The sight adjustment were reversed. In other words to move the red dot to the right you adjust to the left as is labeled on product. Also the red dot moves all over the place when looking through it. It also broke after a few adjustments. Overall horrendous product, and a HUGE waste of money. This review may sound "harsh" but it's true. Just invest a few more dollars in something that works.

When I received this sight the battery was dead. I put in the spare battery and the sight worked. On the front is a small hole for the light sensor. Covering this hole, or putting the sight cover on does not turn the sight off, as advertised. Since the sight must be disassembled to replace the battery, removing the battery after zeroing will ruin the zero.The reticle is certainly not 2 moa, it is much larger and fuzzy. Probably is 4 moa, since every other manufacture that sells this same sight under their own name, advertises 4 moa.The one plus is the small size. If it actually did what is advertised, 2 moa dot and actually shut off, it would be a nice sight. I never actually used it, sent it back as it was defective out of the box. So I cannot provide any input about how it zero's or if it holds zero. I had to send back 3 different reflex sights by different manufactures until I found the one that works as advertised. Two of the three sent back were of the same basic design as this sight. Any sight that uses the same configuration as this sight, will have the same problems, inherent in the design. The ATN Digital Ultra Reflex Site is the only sight I ordered that actually does what they advertise.I have to thank Midway since I sent back 3 defective sights from different manufactures before getting the one that works. Midway never complained and did exactly what they said they would do.With the kind of service Midway provides, think twice about ordering a sight from anyone else.

Mounted it on my ar on an ...

Mounted it on my ar on an offset mount, and went to the range, but as soon as I took the gun out of the case I noticed that the screen had popped out. So I super glued it back in place on the spot, and the sight adjustments never moved the dot.

This sight was part of the Mark III system I purchased, and needless to say it didn't stay on the gun long. The dot is extremely fuzzy, and the windage and elevation adjustments are a pain to use. As you turn the adjustment srew the dot moves wildly in all directions making it almost impossible to sight in. The sight is definitely not parallax free either. I sat the rifle in a bench rest and looked through the sight while moving my head slightly. The dot would move as far as 1.5 feet off target at 50 yards.I wouldn't recommend this sight for any firearm.

The dot is not crisp. It washes the whole area with red streaks. Also, that dot likes to move all over the place. If I had a paintball gun then I would not mind having this red dot, however, my .22lr needs a better more precise sight. The battery life is all right... I hope it breaks soon (which I can count on) so that I have an excuse to buy a Burris speed dot or micro H1 from Aimpoint. Just anything but this!
