This 30mm scope mounting ring is made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and provides the shooter with the ability to mount a mini red dot sight at 45 degrees to the elevation turret. This allows a long range scoped firearm to be used at close distances by simply turning the firearm slightly and using a mounted red dot sight. This system is also offered with an additional battery compartment (also attached to the ring) that holds one 1/3N battery as well as one 2032 wafer battery. This ensures that your optics are never rendered useless due to a dead battery in the field.
