Best tray out there for ...

Best tray out there for the price- I now own several and use them for .380 ACP on up to .223, with several in between. Well made and keeps things organized (safe) while reloading. When using this tray, keep in mind that it is double sided! The side shown in the picture is used for larger pistol cases (ie: .45 ACP) and rifle while the other side has smaller "cups" for small cases (9mm, .380, .32, etc).

Trays are too tall. You ...

Trays are too tall. You can't get a funnel on pistol cartridges. And it is hard to even get 9mm out of the tray since that is about how tall they are. These would work for rifle cartridges but they shouldn't be marketed as pistol trays.

I bought this to reload ...

I bought this to reload .243 Winchester ammunition and I found only 1 problem. When I am lubing the cases with One Shot spray lubricant, the depth of the compartments is such that the bottom 3/8 " or so of the cases do not get lubed. They then stick in my press. For all other operations they are excellent.

I think this is an excellent product from MTM. As Mr. Starr said, the .38 Special and other shorter cases will have a hard time accepting a powder funnel. I use Lee Powder Through Expander Dies so I don't have this problem anymore. However, for those that don't use the Lee die, you can go to Wally-World or similar store and pick up a small funnel set for kitchen use for about $2. The smallest one will fit in the case mouth of virtually EVERY cartridge case. Excellent product and I'm glad MidwayUSA offers it. Thanks.

I have several of these ...

I have several of these trays, loading many different rifle calibers and cases. Fits various sizes well. Holds steady and stacks well. I seldom use the other brand I also have. As with other MTM products I have purchased and used, I am very pleased with the design and durability of the product. Will certainly buy again.

A good value. My only ...

A good value. My only complaint is that when reloading 38 special, my Lee powder funnel won't reach all the way to the case mouth. Other than that, very good product.

The tray works as ...

The tray works as advertised. It's getting more difficult to find quality products at any price now, but this tray compares well with other universal trays. The holes are uniform and without burs. It keeps .223 & .308 brass steady and spaced well for easy handling. A good quality product at a fair price.
