The bullet that started the company, Nosler Partition Bullets feature a fully tapered jacket that ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet's axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high or low velocities.

Nosler's integral Partition supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep penetration. The special crimp locks in the rear core section, adding strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. This is not loaded ammunition.

I have used this bullet ...

I have used this bullet in my .338 Win Mag for 25 years and have shot Deer, Elk, Kudu, Gemsbuck, Wildebeest and more with this bullet. It performs well and usually causes instant kills. My Rem. Model 700 Classic shoots these at nearly 3100 fps. producing devastating results. I would not hesitate to use this bullet on anything short of Cape Buffalo. It would work there as well but not legal most places. My Rem .416 mag will work well for those really nasty critters!

I've used this bullet in my 338 Win Mag for elk and deer. I load it to 2900 fps using IMR 4350. It has produced the most impressive "one-shot" kills I've ever seen. The last deer I shot was flipped over on it's back and never took a step. Meat loss was minimal. Very impressive bullet

Three shot group out of a 338 wm with 72 gr IMR 4350 - .650"Have shot 4 elk and several deer with this bullet - this is in my mind the finest bullet weight for this caliber

Used this bullet behind a ...

Used this bullet behind a max charge of RL 19 in my Browning A-Bolt in .338 Win Mag to take a Caribou in AK at nearly 400 yds. Even at that distance bullet passed through both shoulders and exited blowing an impessive hole in the off side. Devastating and accurate. 3-shot groups well under MOA.

I have used this bullet ...

I have used this bullet on 3 trips to Africa. I have taken two kudu, various wildebeest, gemsbok, zebra, etc. (close to 20 animals total) with no animal lost. The bullet gives great penetration and expands consistently. I even use it on small animals on occasion and it does not destroy the hide on exit. Groupings off the bench are consistently around an inch. I prefer this bullet over the heavier bullets in 338 caliber.

Using a max load of R19 ...

Using a max load of R19 powder in my Ruger 77 MKII 338 Win Mag, I shot two wild hogs (one very large - 400 lbs). On the large hog 2 shots in the lungs at 100-125 yds put him down for good but did not exit. The other, a close shot (20 yds.)when he attempted to charge - completely through both shoulders, killing him instantly. I have never seen a true "instant kill" before and it really is spectacular! A great bullet at a great price! hope this helps.

I have used this bullet ...

I have used this bullet Over a maximum charge of H-4831,in a Weatherby .340 since 1997 to harvest 3 Elk and 2 Mule Deer. Accuracy is always excellent, under 1.5" at 200yds. Great bullet......
