This set contains:1- 4 oz. (approximately) hammer1- 15/64 plastic punch1- 3/8 plastic punch8- brass punches 1/8, 9/64, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, 9/32, 5/162- 1/16 steel punches2- 3/32 steel punches1- Plastic carry caseThe first thing that I noticed when I opened the set, was the lack of steel punches, the product description is vague if not deceptive. It says that you get 4 steel punches, which is true, but only two sizes. On the first roll pin that I used it on, the punch mushroomed, they are not very hard. I have used the brass punches a few times and found them to be very adequate, drove out the dovetailed front sight on a 10/22 with no problem and no damage to the sight or pin. The hammer description says that it has a steel option, to use the steel portion, you would have to use the round part between the heads. I think that would be very risky to the knuckles or the gun, you be the judge on that. Other than that, the hammer has worked fine for me, it will get the job done. I haven't used the plastic punches yet, but look like they would work well for getting hard to start AR pins started. The plastic case holds everything very securely as advertised. I think it's a nice little set, except for the steel punches, they are junk. This set is MADE IN CHINA.

This set works great. The case is a pain to open, but then again it will not open by accident which is a good thing. No complaints really.

I feel obligated to warn ...

I feel obligated to warn you not to waste your money. This is the worst punch set I've seen. It takes a tool of it's own to remove them from the case they're in, they're so tight. The steel punches will bend without trying, and the plastic ones will chip. The case was so frustrating at the range, I painted it orange and it became a target. At least the hammer has held up.

First hit with the 1/8" punch bent it. The steel punches flare because they are made of cheap steel. Do not buy this set. Break down and get a "Real" set not this toy set.

I had a poor experience with this set. My first use of the 1/8 punch resulted in a 45 degree bend of the punch. I would not recommend this set to anyone.

Good BRASS punch set. The steel and plastic punches are a "bonus". Don't buy the set for steel/plastic punches. It is a very nice set and the small hammer comes in handy. The case is nice too. I've used it numerous times and overall a good deal for the money.
