The Taccom Enhanced Firing pin is designed to increase the reliability of your CMMG style rim fire kit. The pin is machined from 17-4 Stainless Steel and is heat treated to H9000 specifications for long term durability. The tip of the firing pin has been shaped to increase the impact depth on the rim of the cartridge, yet protect your chamber when dry-firing your kit. The increased primer strike improves ignition, reducing the failures-to-fire (FTF) often experienced with drop-in kits. The Taccom pin will allow match triggers, with lighter than mil-spec spring rates to work with drop-in kits or dedicated uppers. The improved dimensions of this firing pin also reduce the chances of out-of-battery detonations and doubles that commonly occur with kits. The firing pins are unfinished, but retain the dark coloring from the heat treating process.
